I knew it would come in handy...

I was able to built this bike completely with stuff I had laying around.  Except for the chain & bars.  But it's also kind of awesome.

  • Pre-sam s-600 downtube FRICTION shifters (no SIS convenience here wussies)
  • One piece 7 speed cassette and freewheel.
  • s-600 rear derailleur that's from around the time I was born.  My dad put 20-30 thousand miles on it.
  • Frame from Rich Allen.  He's a good man. 1998 CAD3 cross frame I think.
  • Seat and seatpost were found together in my garage.  I have no idea what they are from.
  • Fender screws don't fit against the cassette without rubbing it.  Zip ties!
The front wheel is off the Six13... until I un-flat something else.  Looking forward to putting some miles on this thing.

**I KNOW  my cable routing is whack.  I'm ok with it.  And too lazy to fix it.
