Brian Matter's a Stillers fan! He has my full support for Worlds now.

ugh
There is (give or take) 10 feet of snow in the woods. There's no school for the second day in a row. I'm not allowed to drive anywhere.
I got caught in 30 mph winds and what felt like a white out yesterday on my ride. brrrr. I had a road slick on the front of my fixie, my (only) brake up front froze up completely and my right pedal kept popping out. I almost died.
I'm done whining now.

Steelers
I don't really follow football anymore, I used to, but I just found better things to do with my time. However, when the Steelers are doing good I'll watch them. I haven't worn my Roethlisberger-something jersey since the last super bowl. I'll wear it again this time. It might not even have been washed.

I woke up at 8.
The therm said 6 degrees.
I texted Brian and said nuh uh, not riding.
He said it's supposed to reach 25 in pgh (Which was totally a lie. It maybe reached 19.)
Get to Frick Park. Start riding. No helmet! Turn around. Put Brian's keys in my back pocket.
Trails are Ice. Not like kind of slippery ice, ice skating rink clear ice.
Brian breaks his bike in first 30 feet, we keep riding, he goes back to car.
45 minutes later = "AH I have Brian's keys."
Ride back on road. Matt blows a lung. Get to truck. No Brian!
Ride to Pro Bikes. Find a *very* pissed and cold Brian.
Good ride.
Went to a Mediterranean restaurant with Jimmy, Diurba, Heath, Matt, Dan, and Brian. Brian, Matt, Dan, and Heath all tweak out because the foods not from the U S of A and panzy off to find some pizza. Our waitress was very nice, and gave us free desert. And the food rocked.

snow snow, go ahead and melt away, sam really does wants to play, in something that doesn't make him mad.
Good enough for me. Almost even matches the real tune.

R.I.P.
Today I said goodbye to my upside down riser bars that I loved/hated.
And I'm happy about it.
Today I went to Pro Bikes and Todd did a sweet bike fit on me. And it turns out I REALLY needed help. Ditched the weirdo bars, moved the seat back, and got some shoe spacers. Feels really good.
Now the 8 inches of snow up here needs to melt so I can ride it.

I knew it would come in handy...
I was able to built this bike completely with stuff I had laying around. Except for the chain & bars. But it's also kind of awesome.
- Pre-sam s-600 downtube FRICTION shifters (no SIS convenience here wussies)
- One piece 7 speed cassette and freewheel.
- s-600 rear derailleur that's from around the time I was born. My dad put 20-30 thousand miles on it.
- Frame from Rich Allen. He's a good man. 1998 CAD3 cross frame I think.
- Seat and seatpost were found together in my garage. I have no idea what they are from.
- Fender screws don't fit against the cassette without rubbing it. Zip ties!
The front wheel is off the Six13... until I un-flat something else. Looking forward to putting some miles on this thing.
**I KNOW my cable routing is whack. I'm ok with it. And too lazy to fix it.

snooow

We got snow. And we got alot of it.
Henry and I went out and played in the snow for three hours. And walked up ROAD hills on our mountain bikes. Our average speed was something like 4 mph.
This guy told us we were a-holes, and then continued to describe to us just exactly what part of the hole we were. It was really weird. He sounded really well rehearsed. Weird. However, there were many people that were very nice as usual, and cheered us on from behind their shovels. That stuff's cool.

Today
I went on a ride today. I crashed. Brian got it on video. I hurt.
USAC upgraded me to a Cat 4 Roadie. Woo-hoo. Watch out you carbon deep dish'in pace-liners.
Hopefully they'll let me move out of the sport mountain biking category. Oops-I-shoulda-gotten-a-mountain-bike-license-2-years-ago-when-I-started oops.
