ka-kapow

Still no bike.

No Greenbriar this weekend for me.  Doing the right thing and getting better, how ever hard that is.

Imagine That

Since I have pneumonia I wasn't able to race the last Mingo today, so I got my marshal on.  I had all the math figured out coming in regarding my overall place for the series, depending on who did what.  Everything happened the way it was supposed too.  Sweet.

I've got pneumonia!

I went to the doctors today for a checkup on how the asthma stuff is working, and now it could be being caused by pneumonia.  Sweet.  Fluid in the lungs, trouble breathing, bla, bla.  The doctor is having me take this weekend's Mingo #3 off, which is kind of sad but a price I'm willing to pay to get better.

Etch a Sketch Artist

That's right, I removed all the silver slivers with the tiny little needle inside.  It took a hour.

The Morgantown road race was today, and it was sweeeet.  Sweet climbs, amazing descents, and awesome WV scenery.  I won the sprint, and thought I'd won the race, but then I saw Rob Lochner after the finish line and realized he must have snuck away when I was in the back of the ten man group, and we were going through some racers from other classes.  O well, he had a great race, it's awesome that he was able to pull off the solo break.

Wowwy

I did the crit last night.  It was fun racing bikes as always.  I nicely forgot my inhaler that I'm still on (and apparently still need:).  I have lots of learning to do in crits.

Attention:

I got a camera.

Maybe I can put pictures up here now.

Exciting.

Mingo #2

It was sunny!  The main group stayed together for a long time, until Ben, Jake, A Kopko (a fellow Funny Bunny team member), myself, and the guy that won last week got away.  We sprinted. I got my first RR win.  Sweet.

Gerry, Justin, and I rode home.  I got around 130 miles in.  Ouch.
